Vanessa,

On the periodic table of elements you can find Copper, Silver and Gold on the same column, often referred to as the noble metals. Some consider them transitional along the way to heavy metals, others do consider them heavy metals.

Just because something is called a heavy metal does not automatically make it bad or dangerous. Chromium and Selenium are considered heavy metals, but without them our bodies would cease to function, which means they are essential. Copper is the 3rd most abundant essential trace element within the body, yet doctors often exhibit an irrational fear of it.

While silver is not considered "essential" by the medical authorities, we have found it to be quite essential in recovery and then in maintenance of optimal immune health, due to a myriad of "essential" properties.

If anyone is on a protocol specific to a reduction of burdensome heavy metals within their system, the use of bioactive silver hydrosol does not inhibit any such protocols. However, i would recommend dosing with silver further apart from the time you take any substance designed to bind heavy metals and remove them from the body, so the silver has an opportunity to benefit you before being processed and excreted via the Phase 2 liver conjugation pathway (ironically selenium dependent - oh wait, selenium is a heavy metal and it is used by the body to remove certain metals - see how complex nature can be, yet it all works!).

Hope that helps!
