I am glad that Mel encouraged Chrissie to Skype a year and a half ago, as she said in her post below. Being that I live in the U.S., that is the main way that Chrissie and I stay in touch with each other.
It is important to know that Skype is not only for phoning. You can also send text messages and audio messages to your Skype friends.
If you live in the U.S., you can Skype people in the U.S. as well. I Skype Mel and others in the U.S., as well as Chrissie in the U.K.
If you use your cellphone as your computer, there is a Skype App that you can download onto your cellphone. I have an Android phone and downloaded the Skype App through Google Play. But you can find the Skype App wherever you download Apps for your particular kind of cellphone. Just download the Skype App and follow the directions.
As Chrissie said, Skype is necessary to join the Saturday conference call and the Sunday prayer and fellowship call, if you live outside of the U.S.
I hope everyone in the community will consider joining Skype. Especially those outside of the U.S.
