10/11/2013 11:21:16 AM | Welcome Nancy and Everyone, It is often said that timing is everything. Your post couldn’t have come at a more appropriate time - on the heels of our last conference call in which Cathy, a medical professional and one of our original warriors, now back at work in the hospital for two years, reflects on her battles over MRSA, Lyme and Morgellons. I have often thought in my own scientifically naïve mind that these three diseases are somehow related, for what I have seen for over four years now is that almost every Morgellons sufferer has one or more of these coinfections. As Cathy so wisely points out, the beauty of this protocol is that by restoring your bioterrain, you are treating all of them. I plan on trying to coordinate a telephone call between you and Cathy and will keep you posted on that. Bactrim was part of my original regimen as MRSA was always my coinfection. Unfortunately, it was so difficult for many people to get a prescription from their doctor that Logos developed a natural alternative that has replaced it for almost two years. In keeping with our first mantra – First Do No Harm – we have always said that anyone taking Bactrim should be under the care of a physician. It is wonderful to hear that more and more doctors are now accepting MMS and that your doctor immediately recognized and confirmed the wisdom in our protocol. In keeping with our second mantra that Everyone’s Body is Different, it is obvious that your doctor feels that you need the additional antibiotic at this time to directly address the Bartonella and speed your restoration. I have also said many times that anxiety and fear are your worst enemies because they inhibit the ability for the body to heal in a normal time frame. Anything one can do or take to alleviate them is very beneficial, so I thank God that you were led to speak with John and that he had the wisdom to recognize the link between your Lyme coinfection and your symptoms of insomnia and severe anxiety. John has explained to me the insidious nature of Lyme disease and its cousins which can wreak havoc on the body’s hormonal balance and dramatically alter neurotransmitter levels causing intense emotional disturbances. Likewise, the dark terror you experienced is one of the most gripping and unfortunate aspects of Morgellons, because it contributes to its current misunderstanding by the medical community. As John said, one cannot simply “man up” and overcome severe anxiety and insomnia that is caused by neurotransmitter imbalances. He said that was a major consideration when he reformulated his sleep formula two years ago. I am wondering now if Sleep Advance should have been part of the protocol all along. Nancy, I cannot tell you how proud of you I am and how far you have come from that terrified lady I first encountered. I am nominating you to the hockey Hall of Fame under the name “Jammer”. May God bless and keep you well. Your Friend, Mel |
