Kate 5/6/2017 10:12:18 PM | Lady T, I am so sorry it looks like i didn't respond here! I think i did respond to this post with a response to another post on another thread. Anyways, again, thank you-- so encouraging and helpful! I can't keep up with this forum all the time, but I hope that you are still posting and would love to keep in touch and read your books:) Kash, there is lots of great advice here. Personally, i prioritize laundry and vacuuming. I use Kleen Green in between washes for sheets as my life is to crazy to wash sheets for 5 different beds every night! Others may have different advice. |

Lady T 4/25/2016 9:56:51 PM | Hi kate- Thanks for our reply - and remember you have to do what works for you - we have all tile and hardwood downstairs - and I always wore shoes - and upstairs we have carpet and it is still there. And yes - once a week worked - but I also recall sprinkling borax on carpet and some days - in my main areas -or once all over kitchen floor I put baking soda - the hubs helped me clean it up - I went with my gut each week / but again - that early deep cleaning worked! Re: pants and cotton Well all the clothes I wear will still be cotton- and after I stopped boiling clothes (really - did this for about a month because I thought it was nanotechnology) - I gravitated towards all cotton - soft tank tops and Ann Taylor "loft" pants were a fav. I got the tip from a YouTube video where a healing lady only wore cotton khakis and white or light cotton shirts - she had plastic bins for storage and it helped me so much - BTW - this is why I make the time to share - it is because folks across social media have helped me - so I try to give back when I can - and it is a pleasure- as I am sure you know. Anyhow - I was surprised that folks here suggest synthetic material - but I never had a lot of fibers had some (few) - but must have caught it early enough - praise God. When I was in the later stages of healing - I had not had any sores or scratches for a while - and wore this black nylon turtle neck to an event - I was there 10 to 6 - had a blazer over the turtle neck all day and came home with a two inch thick scratch - it was crazy! I was low on sleep- and it was an effort activity - and I was shocked. Took a peppermint shower - sprayed it with alcohol before bed and by next day it was 50% gone and then within a few days all gone! Woo hoo - This is an example of how my immune system could now attack this disease! That was so encouraging. Anyhow - I dot like the nylon might have played a part - it did not let my skin breathe - and I might toss the shirt / even though it looked so good - jk! The most important thing I did was make sure you clean clothes never touched the floor. Remember the cleaning we did early on? Well closets were done too - and I made them moths friendly by setting up cubicles - I had a very nice real wood dresser I stopped using cos I did not know if this would live in the wood - I don't think it did - but cannot use it still! So I wore cotton clothes and I actually liked the new me. I never wore light blue - but my discount "loft" pants were so fun! Just cotton with pockets - but I liked the look and with a plain white long sleeved shirt it was a top outfit (for while healing that is!) and then green Khaki target brand pants were another fav- and from all the cleansing and mild yoga - my stomach was flat again after a few years and this felt so awesome.so here I was - wearing a new style of clothes - ok some I will not keep - but it was a fresh me! And there I was after the most miserable affliction - I was feeling so fantastic in my gut and with pants fitting so loose again- yes - that feels amazing! Right before I broke out with MD - I had some years of not knowing why I could not drop a few pounds - I have always been skinny and dropping a few pounds was super easy if I felt to- I think the MD pathogens make the gut swell - and it interferes with metabolism and ATP and all body systems - this is why I could not drop a few pounds like I normally could. And so I also wore lots of yoga pants - cheap and comfy - and some casual slacks for days of work - all cotton undergarments - always sprinkled with borax after wearing - and all clean laundry went into cubicles and did not touch floor. --- Side note on hardwood floors - I have head some stories of "misc crap" coming out of some hardwood - really! And then liquid lumbar brand got busted getting Russian wood and heard it had gunk- further - hardwood is treated with chemicals that varies - and I know some health gurus who insist tile is best for so much - and the using small rugs (that can be rotated) - so as much as I like hardwood - do some research before you out it in. ;) In closing - Thanks for your really nice suggestion (about blog and books) am actually I working on a couple of book projects right now - nothing to do with MD - so........ maybe when you are healed we can tackle a MD book together - ha!! And with blogs - I do have a few blogs (two are inactive) and while I thought about setting up a MD blog (similar to Mr, CS at "mundane approach") - I felt Mr. CS (Mike) had it enough on his and felt it best to come here and contribute to the effective " Mel's protocol" - to help in little ways when I can- I might eventually do a MD website or something later to advocate - but glad to be right here - right now - ya know? Have a great day! To all on the healing path - stay the course and I leave you with romans 15:13 verse: "May the God of hope - fill you with all joy - and peace - in believing that you may abound in hope and in power - through the power of the holy spirit" - There is power - wonder working power with the holy spirit and you are strong! |
