I start off with pretty warm water and gradually go to solid cold. I always rinse my head first with cold, bent over and get my head, shoulders, and chest use to the cold before the rest of my body. It works pretty well. My final rinse is always cold. I turn the air off in the house 30 min. before showering, it helps.
