I cannot begin to express how much your post touched my heart. It was absolutely beautiful! Thank you so much!! It truly made me cry, but not in a bad way. You expressed so many things that I feel and have felt through this journey
I live to be of service to others. I always want to help and make others happy. Seeing others happy by something I did or said truly makes my heart sing. This disease has placed a bump in the road on that, but I know that with God helping me, I will be able to do that again in perhaps a more meaningful way.
I have said often that I was close to God before M, but I have become closer than ever now. The last sentence in your post is something I struggle with as well.
"Learning to let go and let God"
Each day I pray "Jesus, I trust in you" - five powerful words. His plan is the best plan for us and by following Him, we were led to the best place we can be to be cured.
I also pray for all of you suffering from this as well. Praying for others is a healing blessing because when you take the time to pray for others, God finds the time to bless you.
God Bless You Karen!
Love,
Donna |
