2/8/2017 9:01:37 AM | Thank you all for your quick supportive responses all of you! It is of great comfort to me. Frankly, my walk with the Lord has backtracked. Before I got the Lyme it was stronger and I did two ministries at church actually three that I miss so much. It seems like the disease with the brain fog is affecting me spiritual. I know I love the Lord with my heart and I keep reading scripture and praying, but I don't feel the Holy Spirit as before the illness. I think I would be less anxious if I could get back in that place before this illness. I pray for that every day. I thank God daily for what he has blessed me with especially my loving husband who supports me in every way. My brother and sister in Michigan have rejected me throughout this even though I have the blood tests to prove the Lyme! Their uninformed ignorance about the disease thinks the short course of antibiotics should have fixed this and that this is all in my head. I have received some very ugly emails and texts that I just turned the other cheek (both) are not believers). I pray for them daily. Sometimes the persecution is relentless. I constantly work on forgiveness. This rejection does not help my anxiety level. I've read in the forums here I am not alone with family rejection. Back to my journey 3 weeks on the protocol and I have noticed my sinus are clearer than ever before, even before I got the Lyme. Seemed like I kept having sinus infections. My goal in this journey is to report the positive progress so here it is. One small step "slow and steady ". I do realize this will be a slow process and I require patience. I want it all gone now! I need to be a brave warrior to make the long haul. Diet question again: brown rice? V8 vegetable juice no fruits in ingredients. Thanks again for all you responses they mean so much to me. Especially since I am being rejected by my siblings... I miss my family, but am find the support here and you understand and feel like family. I am so extremely grateful to Mel, Peter, and John. And all of you. I consider finding this site a major blessing in my life! God Bless you all! Deb (the warrior) |
