Hello Everyone and Welcome
Life in the mountains is wonderful, except for my internet and television, which, contrary to what was promised, won't be available today. My TV and internet provider now says service will be restored by Thursday at noon, meaning I will have been without it for one week and four hours. So, I am urgently trying to figure out how to connect a hotspot from my phone to my computer so I can at least keep up with things, make my own posts, and not rely solely on John, Glenn, and the webmaster, who have all been very helpful.
I will keep making my calls during my workdays. Occasionally, I will ask Glenn or John to publish a post, and I will also request that they read the posts awaiting approval to me so we can get them approved and published for you.
On a very sad note, our beloved community member Chrissy from Scotland has lost the love of her life, Holly, also known as Hollywood, one of the coolest dogs around.
By the way, Holly passed away on the night of the full moon. When I stepped out onto the terrace around three in the morning and looked up at the moon, it was so large and bright that I thought, "They provided a light for Holly to guide her home." There is a big story about Holly and Hollywood that we will share another day with the help of Glenn or John, as there are many things to discuss.
I would also be remiss if I didn't mention Nancy. One of her three dogs died about a year ago, another passed away about six weeks ago, and about a week ago, her dog was on the driveway but then disappeared and has not returned. So, two of our community members are feeling quite heartbroken. Please feel free to send your best wishes and condolences.
