This is great. Thanks for sharing. Good to know that peanuts, cashews, macadamias, and pine nuts should be avoided. I do like macadamias, and it sounds like the only reason was the high fat content. A raw macadamia butter should be okay if you eat just a little at a time I would think. It is a shame that peanut butter is so tasty since it can be so bad for you.
I like the good ones they mentioned: brazil nuts, walnuts, almonds, and pistachios. I will have to look for brazil nuts at Whole Foods. I have only seen them in the mixed nut can before and I guess they aren't considered healthy since they are roasted in oils, but I bet Whole Foods may have a healthy version. Raw walnut butter and raw almond butter is so tasty too. Good to hear they are healthy for us.
