I read your post and glad you reached out. There are others who have been led here, who do not have the illness, but their family member does. Consider This a God send. I am not married, but I live with my adult daughter and I know this is so hard on her to witness. Many times whole families disintegrate when someone has this illness. Many times those without it, can't wrap their minds around it, which is understandable and/or think it is not real and believe their family member is crazy or they just stay away out of fear. So with that said, this is the time to give your husband as much support as you possibly can. He is lucky to have you doing research for him. Morgellons is so frightening in the beginning and a grieving process begins along with so many unknowns.Your husband is suffering greatly with this, as we all have here in the beginning.I don't want to detract from your loss either as you have lost who your husband was. This is why it is so hard on families, but you can overcome that with lots of love. Many here are improving on the protocol and perhaps you could look into getting your husband started on this. He is lucky to have your love and support and unified front. It will help him so much to fight and do what it takes to regain his health. I don't know of any support groups for spouses. It is hard to have even acknowledgement of this illness in the medical field for those of us afflicted. You can learn a lot by reading through these forums. God Bless and I pray you and your dear husband can get through this and get him on a healing path. |
