Dear Chrissie , I'm so happy you are able to purchase a dehumidifier for your mold issues! That was very generous of HCAF to not require your partial payment of your protocol for two months! I'm sure that was a huge help, as dehumidifiers can be quite pricey. I bought one years ago because we live in a humid climate. It turned out to be one of the best purchases I've ever made! Here is something I read online about mold: "To kill mold, you need to get the humidity below 50%, and around 35% is optimal." The same holds true for many other pathogens. Dear Mel, I am very grateful indeed that following my hot water pipe leak in the kitchen of my new home and subsequent moldy smells and mold issues,that you have been really kind and thoughtful to me. During prayer when I was so upset re the whole thing and it had felt too much, you said don't pay the next two months donation for the protocol. You then said, use it towards the dehumidifier that I was buying. So effectively the price became half its price with this help :-). The dehumidifier is especially important as I have a mold allergy and have been really affected by the leak re the smell, dampness and mycotixins released by the mold. I'm still fighting the housing association regards it all and doing the best I can in the circumstances for Holly and myself. I am very touched by this help , it was such a lovely gesture.
