2/6/2017 7:10:53 PM | Hi Amanda! I listened to Ellen’s call today and heard the fear and sadness in your voice and it broke my heart. I understand how hard it is and how scared you are – I truly do. But God lead me to Mel’s site, I sent an email, Mel called and he helped get me started on this journey. I don’t think Mel truly understands what a blessing he is. Just simple phone calls from him and John B changed my life. I had that same fear as you not so long ago – because I also had an effect on others around me, making them itch, scratch, etc. I was terrified I would spread it to my kids, my co-workers, etc. But as a single mom, I had to work and be around my kids. Mel helped calm me down and see that, “IT” is everywhere – we have to continue to live and if that means work, and be around others, then that’s what we have to do. And for you – that means school. If you are sick, and can’t physically go, that’s one thing. But if you are worried about spreading this – then, stop those negative thoughts right there!!! Even though it is unimaginably hard - take some deep breaths and feel all of our love, and most importantly God’s. He is with you, as are we, and if you change your diet and follow this protocol – it WILL get better. I am not at a place where I can say I am 100% - I also have Lyme – BUT, after 2-3 months on the protocol, people were no longer itching around me!! Praise the Lord, that was an answer to prayers!! Fast forward to today where I just started month 16 – and people still don’t itch around me. I am mostly battling Lyme issues now. And thank you, God, my kids continue to show no symptoms!!!! And as far as I know, no co-workers, strangers at the grocery store, other parents at a football game, or anyone I was ever around got sick. I have worked really hard over the past year and a half on fear and Mel is right – FEAR feeds this disease. And still every day, I continue to work on conquering fear. When I start to panic about something, I try to close my eyes, take a breath and say to myself “Be still and know that I am God...” I find it helps me! My family, doesn’t believe I have Morgellons, Lyme or anything else….so I kind of get the no support thing you are in – but I was never bullied. I am so sorry to hear that. I had no one to talk to about any of this, until I found this community. So when you are having a bad day/time – continue to reach out. So much love here, you are never alone. My schedule is crazy, so I don’t get to post much or participate live on the calls – but I would be happy to e-mail you if you would like. Just ask Mel to give you my info. We are here with you and for you – so keep working hard – you are doing great! We have your back and you are not alone. We are Warriors now and as much as the Enemy hates that…HA! There is strength in numbers!!! Love and prayers, Amy B |
