I want to thank EVERYONE, including Mel, once again for allowing me to share my healing journey, my love for essential oils; especially the Liquid Chill Roller, on last Saturday's conference call! It was an honor and a pleasure to be your guest speaker/presenter!! As promised, listed below are the VERY specific details of this AMAZING Roller blend... as you will see we were only able to touch on some of this during the call. The Liquid Chill Roller consists of a perfect blend of the following five (5) very POWERFUL essential oils!! Some of the oils in this Roller are considered single oils and some are considered blends…. A single oil comes from one plant source and a blend is made up of oils that come from multiple plant sources. Thus Liquid Chill is basically a combination of both single and blended oils and is actually inclusive of 12 essential oils. Let’s start with the single oils…. 1) Lavender - Lavender is referred to as the Swiss Army Knife of oils as there are over 1,000 uses for it… that alone is AMAZING to me. Due to it’s MANY uses it is by far THE most widely used Essential Oil. Plant Origin: Utah, Idaho, France Extraction Method: Steam distilled from flowering top Historical Data: The French scientist Rene Gattefosse was the first to discover lavender’s ability to promote tissue regeneration and speed wound healing when he severely burned his arm in a laboratory explosion. Today, lavender is one of the few essential oils to still be listed in the British Pharmacopoeia of the United Kingdom… which is an annually published collection of quality standards for UK medicinal substances. Medical Properties: Antiseptic, antifungal, analgesic (relieves pain), anti-tumoral, anticonvulsant, vasodilating (widening of blood vessels), relaxant, anti-inflammatory, reduces, blood fat/cholesterol, combats excess sebum (an oily secretion that helps keep the skin and hair moisturized) on skin. Uses: Respiratory infections, high blood pressure, arteriosclerosis, menstrual problems (PMS), skin conditions such as repair, acne, eczema, psoriasis, scarring, stretch marks, it’s also great for burns, hair loss, insomnia, nervous tension. Fragrant Infulence: Calming, relaxing, and balancing both physically and emotionally. Lavender has been documented to improve concentration and mental acuity. University of Miami researchers found that inhalation of lavender oil increased beta waves in the brain, suggesting heightened relaxation. It also reduced depression and improved cognitive performance. A 2001 Osaka Kyoiku University study found that lavender reduced mental stress and increased alertness. Personal Uses: First oil our family used to help Granddaughters relax at bedtime and sleep well, used when I was stung by a hornet, burned my hand on scalding water for tea and used nightly for sleep. 2) Patchouli – Plant Origin: Indonesia Extraction Method: Steam distilled from flowers Medical Properties: Relaxant, anti-tumoral, digestive aid that combats nausea, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antifungal, insecticidal, prevents wrinkles, chapped skin and relieves itching. Uses: Hypertension, inflammatory, bowel disease, skin conditions, fluid retention, insect repellent Fragrant Influence: A relaxant that clarifies thoughts, allowing the discarding of jealousies, obsessions, and insecurities. 3) Vetiver – Plant Origin: Haiti, Ecuador Extraction Method: Steam distilled from root Historical Data: It is well known for its anti-inflammatory properties and is traditionally used for arthritic symptoms. Medical Properties: Antiseptic, anti-spasmodic, relaxant, circulatory stimulant Uses: ADHD, anxiety, rheumatism/arthritis, depression (including postpartum), insomnia, skin care such as oily, aging, acne, wrinkles Fragrant Influences: Psychologically grounding, calming, and stabilizing. It helps us cope with stress and recover from emotional trauma. (Definitely something we as toxic disease suffers are ALL too familiar with!) The next two oil blends are as follows…. 4) Valor - This blend was formulated to balance energies and instill courage, confidence and self-esteem. It helps the body self-correct its balance and alignment. I believe it as ALL essential oils and natural supplements in general returns us to the way God intended us to be… our original natural state of being!! Ingredients: Fractionated Virgin Coconut Oil: has been fractioned to create a strong shelf life. With its antiseptic and disinfectant properties, it gives a strong, stabilizing foundation to the formulation. Spruce: opens and releases emotional blocks, fostering a sense of balance and grounding. Traditionally it was believed to possess the frequency of prosperity. Rosewood: is anti-infectious, antibacterial, antifungal, anti-spasmodic and is very grounding and strengthening. Blue Tansy: helps cleanse the liver and lymphatic system, helping one overcome anger and negative emotions, promoting a feeling of self-control. Frankincense: is considered the King of oils and rightfully so as it was one of three gifts that were brought to Baby Jesus… my thought is ALWAYS if it was good enough for Jesus just imagine what it can do for us!?!?! This oil is still considered a holy anointing oil in the Middle East and has been used in religious ceremonies for thousands of years. It stimulates the limbic part of the brain, elevating the mind and helping to overcome stress and despair. It is used in European medicine to combat depression and MUCH more!!! 5) Stress Away - This is a gentle, fragrant blend that brings a feeling of peace and tranquility to both children and adults and helps to relieve daily stress and nervous tension. It helps with normal, everyday stress, improves mental response, restores equilibrium, promotes relxation and lowers hypertension. Ingredients: Copaiba: is hystorically used for anti-inflammatory and anti-tumoral healing in folk medicines. In modern pharmacology it is used in products that soothe ant protect the skin. Its hypnotic-like properties work as a sedative to the nervous system and can induce sleep. It is stimulating to the nervous system. Lime: well known in folklore for its ability to cleanse, purify and renew the spirit and is said to be effective in cleansing the aura. It can stimulate and refresh a tired mind and can help with depression. It has also been used for acne, asthma, colds, flu, and varicose veins. Cedarwood: is high in sesquiterpenes, which stimulate the limbic part of the brain, the center of emotions and memory. It stimulates the pineal gland, which releases melatonin, thereby improving thoughts, cognition, and memory. Cedarwood is VERY stabilizing and grounding. Vanilla: is a species of vanilla orchid that is native to Mexico and is one of the primary sources for vanilla flavoring, due to its high vanillin content. Ocotea: has a complex aroma that induces feelings of fullness or completeness, creating an environment of peace and tranquility. Lavender: with all its AMAZING properties which we discussed above is also an ingredient in Stress Away.
