LOVE IS PART OF THE SUM OF THE PARTS
Hello Fellow Warriors,

Update: 18 months on the protocol as of June 24.

I have been remiss in not posting lately as I have been living and enjoying "Life" again. There is "Life" after Morgellons and it is our ultimate goal and/or reward for overcoming this nightmare.

Please understand that I only say this as encouragement to all of you still in the race. Know that each hurdle you jump or each lap you complete, you are that much closer to the finish line. Just remember that this may be not the longest race -although it seems that way- in your life, it definitely is the hardest. It is not impossible though as I and many others are living proof.

Being able to enjoy time with my family and friends but especially my husband, children and grandchildren has been the greatest gift that I have received since getting well. I never fully realized how blessed I was before this illness. Many many things in my life are no longer taken for granted.

In the past two weeks, I have attended a baby shower, two weddings, in addition to celebrating the 4 of July by going to a carnival and a parade with my family. Feeling normal, hugging people and not being tired is so wonderful! But don't worry, I am getting rest, taking the basic protocol and watching my diet. I have tested the waters a bit by eating more carbs in moderation. I'm happy to report that I had no reactions!

Please don't give up - As "Ellen of Troy", one of the warriors whose journey I followed said, "There is nothing special about me. If I can do it, anybody can." The only thing I would add would be "Have Faith and Perseverance, Trust the Lord."

The Lord led us to Mel and this wonderful community! Thank you Lord for blessing us with Mel (his wisdom and guidance), fantastic friends, products and everything we need to heal.

Remember to be warriors, not worriers! Mel and so many of you have become life long friends and have been such blessings to me in my journey. I can never thank you enough! I pray for God's love, blessings, grace and mercy for all of you.

I would like to close with the prayer that I posted at the beginning of this thread again. It truly expresses how I feel.

PRAYER FOR GRATITUDE TOWARDS OUR HEAVENLY FATHER

I am so grateful for everything that You have given me. Thank you so much for the loved ones in my life, and for the many ways in which I am cared for and supported on a day to day basis. Thank you for the many ways I can serve and give to others. Thank you for the rich tapestry of colors throughout creation, for the beauty that is all around me, and for the skies and the ever-changing environment that surrounds me. My heart is so grateful for all that You have bestowed me within my life. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. It is in Your name that I sing my praises!

Love,
