OOPS, THERE GOES SNEAKERS
Dear Jamie, Terry and Chrissie,

Thank you for your beautiful posts! It means a great deal that you rejoice in my healing but it means even more that you are encouraged and getting well.

August 24 will mark my 20th month on the protocol. Life has become much busier since I have gotten well. Now I understand how others have not been able to come back to the community but I want to keep my promise to stick around.

I was able to attend two more important family/life events - a graduation and a funeral. If these events would have happened a year ago, I would not have been able to attend without fear and fatigue. Living in the south, people hug and kiss to greet, congratulate, express sympathy or say good-bye. So, as you can see it is a custom for every event. I was able to hug family members without fear (or trying to make excuses to avoid the hugs). It was so nice to feel "normal".

I have been eating more carbs, and a bite of sweets here and there especially during the events I have attended, when food choice was somewhat limited. I am still very cautious though and go back to watching my diet afterward. I am also happy to report - no repercussions!

As always, I am taking the basic protocol. I can't say enough that I know I am well because of our wonderful Mel, the protocol, the sum of the parts, this wonderful community, and faith and trust in God! Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I have truly been blessed!

I continue praying for you all!

God Bless,

Donna M (aka Sneakers)
