The True Meaning of Hope

A few weeks ago, I was on the phone with a close friend explaining some of the things my husband and I were going through with Morgellons. Then I told her about finding Mel’s website and the protocol.

As my voice cracked, I told her, “I have Hope”. It occurred to me that I had not fully understood the meaning of “Hope” before because I had never faced hopelessness before. I had been through many hard times, but nothing like this.

It all started in March. A small rash on my hand. A doctor’s diagnosis of possible scabies. Searching the internet for answers and cures to no avail.
Two more doctor visits and two more dermatologist visits all with differing diagnoses. None were correct.

The last visit was the worst.
The doctor examined the fibers and asked me if I had a black coat. I thought to myself, “Yes and I wear it under my skin all the time!” She was rude & I could tell that I was on my own as far as the medical community was concerned.

The fear that I would give it to my husband and young man who was living with us temporarily was overwhelming. And then my husband starting breaking out with a rash. If he got as bad as I was, he might not be able to work and we might lose everything.

By this time the rash covered most of my body. I couldn’t eat. I couldn’t sleep. I didn’t go anywhere. I have never been given to depression, but now it was taking over.

Still thinking we had scabies, I was found a website that a woman had cured herself using clove oil. She used olive oil as a carrier oil after showering twice a day over her whole body. So, on April 29th, my husband & I started using the clove oil. It helped immensely. Very slowly the rash started healing.

My husband asked me to order an electronic microscope. He wanted to look at these black “bugs” coming out of his skin. What we saw under the microscope looked nothing like scabies. But it looked like the awful pictures we had seen of Morgellons on the internet. At first, I refused to believe it. I had read that that there was no cure for Morgellons.

By this time, I understood that we were not dealing with a skin condition. We were dealing with much more. Once again, I was scouring the internet. Somehow, I landed on a blog post by Mr. Common Sense. He had a link to Mel’s website.

I found Hope! On July 1st, my husband and I started Mel’s Protocol. We both could tell a difference as soon as we started the Logos Nutritionals.
So thankful for Mel, Peter, the Forum, the Conference Calls and the loving comradery of those is this group!

‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 NASB

Julie B.,

Thank you for posting the update on your health. This gives so many HOPE! I related to the security we now have staying on a strict routine with the supplements as well as our environment.

Life as we once knew it before this disease; no longer exists. However, our new life is one of health and understanding God's holy word. Again thank you for sharing!

May God continue to bless you and your family. Please keep us updated on your progress as this will give hope to all who read it.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”
2 Corinthians 5:17

In Christ Love,
Laura

Hello everyone!

I have been mulling over the holidays with amazement!

After being so sick last spring and summer, my husband and I went to Cancun right after Thanksgiving. I didn't want to go but my husband earned the trip and persisted that we were going.

Pretty scary getting away from home. The protocol has become my security blanket.

But after talking to Mel and Deanna, I was encouraged.
The trip went well and we had a wonderful time.

Then for Christmas we took our travel trailer to North Carolina to visit our daughter and her family. We had not seen them for a year because of the Morgellons.

It was so wonderful to see our family! And by taking the trailer, I was able to cook our meals on the way, sleep in our own bed and shower in our own shower. That took a lot of pressure off of me.

So many things that I used to take for granted, I was so thankful for.

Stick with the protocol! Listen to what Mel says! And gradually you will get your life and health back! Praise the Lord!

Julie B.
