How wonderful that yes you have hope now! And you found your way here so quickly that I am sure this will be a great help to your healing journey.
I'm sorry that you and your husband both have symptoms but its great that you are tackling it together and both on the protocol.
God showed me the way here two years ago and I am so much better now and so grateful to God and for the help I found here. My story is similar to yours with an initial diagnosis of scabies and no help from the dermatologist.
