Oh I'm so glad you can get all four series of Larkrise and the first of Cranford. I think you will adore them. Oh I love the postmistress Dorcas Lane and her little wry smiles, just delightful!! :-). Oh and Poldark is one of my favorites also.
Have you seen,' North and South, 'that's a good bbc drama too.
My favourite author is Daphne du maurier and I adore getting lost in period drama, in other worlds that we in modern civilization cannot ever experience.
Although with brain fog these days I hardly read, as I keep falling asleep when I Try. But, 'Frenchmans Creek,' 'Rebecca, and many others had me captivated...so many twists and turns of plot and story lines.
There are films both old and new of the two books I mentioned here.
