Hi Tired!

I just read your post. Yes, please ask Mel for my number or email. I want you to know that YOU ARE NOT ALONE. I repeat, you are NOT alone. God is there with you and so are we. I found great information here in these forums (many pages in) that I/we needed to get to even this state and to make the decision to begin using this protocol.

Thank you kindly for your comment. I am glad the Lord can use me, even online or in text to speak to your situation. I have to tell you though, if it seems that I am strong or have it all together; I can assure you I am NOT! It is ALL HIM! I love the Lord, I am learning to understand myself as he sees me and I am open to change. THAT'S IT. That's my only quality that is helping me beat this, besides Him. HE is doing it all; even the support on this site! THIS! >> What you said here >> This is EXACTLY HOW I FELT/FEEL inside. "I AM NOT AS STRONG AS YOU PEOPLE, I HAVE NO SELF ESTEAM, NO DESIRE TO LIFE, STILL DEALING WITH THE 13 YEAR OLD PERSON INSIDE OF THIS 57 YEAR OLD BODY. ADDING, NO HAIR, BAD SKIN, LOOK 80 YRS OLD." Frankly, I felt exactly as you do! If you read my previous posting thread (in the search bar put in "RELUCTANT WARRIOR" SEEKS HELP - you can see that there)

I know what you mean about cleaning and not being able to do it all. This illness and all related to it is so overwhelming at times! I feel for you. I am sorry that hubby is in denial. I can relate also because not only do I feel I am cleaning up after my (now healed) sweetheart, but also after my roommate because I do NOT want her to get this! Though secretly I am starting to believe she is immune (shhh, don't tell anyone!)

I am praying for you right now, TIRED! I would prefer to pray together and unceasingly as Paul admonishes us to do! I know exactly where you are with looks! I had my hair falling out too! I had started to see the changes in my skin and I STILL see them DAILY! You know what I did? I cut all my hair off and shaved my head BEFORE it was all gone on me. I said "well, I may as well prepare to live WITHOUT HAIR now.. while I am still strong and able to do it." Mind you I have ALWAYS been crazy with my hair and styles, but shaving it all off was VERY hard for me, feeling I was really losing my femininity. All of which I found out was NOT even true! I could not do Math or speak or remember anything! I worked with Math my whole life, had a uncanny memory ability I was known for and could not even work in my field anymore -- more on that later...

Listen, we already feel unattractive with this illness, we already feel leperish and untouchable, we already feel like we are losing everything, right TIRED? (I am sorry I keep calling you TIRED, but I don't know your name, LOL) :P So why not take it with a stride? What do you have left when you have lost everything? You still have and CAN CHOOSE > HOPE. To GOD you are NOT a leper/untouchable, (and he has NO favorites) to God you are not unattractive (even hairless, with sores, looking old, overweight, even limbless) and to God - you are Christ, and He is in YOU so you are not losing anything. YOU actually HAVE POWER, TIRED! Don't listen to that little voice in your head. It's the enemy/Devil.

Here is your sword, put it on. Remember what HE said:
Mark 1:40-45 - 40 Now a leper came to Him, imploring Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him, “If You are willing, You can make me clean.” 41 Then Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed.” 42 As soon as He had spoken, immediately the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed. 43 And He strictly warned him and sent him away at once, 44 and said to him, “See that you say nothing to anyone; but go your way, show yourself to the priest, and offer for your cleansing those things which Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.” 45 However, he went out and began to proclaim it freely, and to spread the matter, so that Jesus could no longer openly enter the city, but was outside in deserted places; and they came to Him from every direction.

(Imagine you right there in all your feelings of being unlovable, "IF YOU ARE WILLING, Jesus." What does Jesus lovingly say to him and ultimately to us? He said "I AM willing." Be cleansed.)

Romans 2:11 - 10 but glory and honor and peace to everyone who does good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 11For there is no partiality with God. 12For all who have sinned without the Law will also perish without the Law, and all who have sinned under the Law will be judged by the Law..

(The Father has NO favorites, for the Jew and also Greek (us) judgement/justice will be the same. It is the same with His love and kindness, TIRED. He sent Christ for ALL who would believe, through Christ we have our opportunity to even know and be with the Father. You are NO LESS his favorite now than you were before Morgs with hair, lean body, youth, and gorgeous skin!) He sends his rain for crops on those who hate him as well as those who love him. The Father sends his rainbow for those who hate him as well as those who love him. He sets the night moon and day sun and the beauty of the stars (knows them by each name) in the sky for those who love him as well as those who hate him. Jesus as the Jews who hated him were crucifying him said "Forgive them Father for they know not what they do!" I sure as hell would not have said that!

1 John 4:12 - 11Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12No one has seen God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us. 13By this we know that we abide in Him and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit

and because of this ...
YOU have STRENGTH
Philippians 4:13 - 13 I can do everything through him who gives me strength.
YOU have POWER
Isaiah 40:29 - 29 He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.

And YOU personally, I can tell, YOU ARE STRONG. VERY STRONG and also wise. Know why? Because you are WILLING: to be vulnerable, you are willing to ask for help and you are willing to do what you have to do to get your health back. It doesn't matter right now that you are not consistent with diet or cleaning or even that you have no self-control with smoking - if you have God, you WILL have it. The Father and Holy Spirit in you will give these things to you, as one of many gifts from a loving God. I know this Tired, because he IS giving it to me. Slowly, slowly (I am stubborn) I am getting there.. with HIS help and loving guiding hands.

...and with God by your side, well, you still have... EVERYTHING! I know this and can say this because I really am a living testimony to that. To losing it all and gaining it back. I am happy to talk to you about it, if you would like - though you may not believe it! This whole illness has been unbelievable! Anywho, I hope to talk to you soon. Praying for you to have comfort and more trust in Him today.

Your sister,
Shari
