8/4/2015 11:44:40 PM | Hi Shari, Thanks for your detailed post. I have not read it completely to the start, but working on it. I am enjoying your (and Kim) smoothie recipes below as well as your chicken recipe. Also, it sounds like we started the protocol at the same time at about 9 months. I am at 12 drops and had herx that lasted one evening real hard then for few days just felt blah, but it was manageable. I got this illness about March 2014 and I was on clean diet by April 2014. Found this site in November 2014. To help with fatigue I increased my water to 1 gallon thru out the day. I have a cayenne, lemon, ice, water, & celery cocktail at 10:30 and 4:30. I also, take a vitamin B12 under the tongue at 10:30 if running low for the day. I work out at least 1 to 1.5 hours in the evening outside 5 days a week. It is 90 with humidity in Texas so I sweat to clear the system. Mel suggested the exercising when I talked to him in June and seems to help a lot mentally and physically. I had pimpling on my chest and just lathered coconut oil on it and was gone in a couple hours. I had the red/ brown dots last year, but went to the dermatologist and he froze the brown ones off and they have not returned. I had a lot and now I don’t see any unless there on some on my back. I think using essential oils (Young Living) purification and thieves when I was inside helped reduce the red dots. Also, before I started working out this June I spent couple hours a day in the summer outside and that really cleared up my skin. I thinking of getting sun lamp since have to be inside more since the sun really makes me feel good. I occasionally went for swim in the ocean which felt great and helped keep the dots/ pimpling away. Last, and I think most important is I use mineral oil every morning and every night on the skin. I covered every inch of my body. I even put it in my hair/ scalp, but had to use dawn soap to get it out in my evening bath. Since doing better, only have head issue which resurfaced this June, I used coconut oil in my hair in the evening to get anything out since easier and put the oil on after by KG bath. Ellen mentioned in one of the conference calls that she used mineral oil too and mixed it in cup with tea tree oil. I just use it plain. It seems to remove stuff below the surface of the skin. Better out than in right. If you try it then may increase crawling feeling, but I just spray lightly with Epson salt and water mixture or KG ( Kleen Green) mixture then get dress after it calms down. I think this last step really helped me improve the most. Also, I only ate salads and nuts for a year, but Mel encouraged me to eat more protein so I include eggs, mostly veggie omelets (with lots of onions & garlic) and chicken a few times a week. Avocado is my go to every day. I do eat cooked veggies in the morning now and sometime in the evening. We eat the same thing for lunch and most of my dinners. I took rice out of my diet since I read only eat veggies with protein or only eat veggies with seeds or only eat veggies with starches (rice). I like chicken (protein) dinner with salad or quinoa (seeds) for lunch in salad. I may start eating it again in another month or 2, but I don’t really miss the rice. I eat a few fruits and have for a while. I only eat green apples and grapefruit. Blueberries made my head itch so I had to stop. I got the impression you don’t eat any fruit? I only eat fruit on empty stomach usually in the evening. I eat dinner early & very light then work out so about 9:30 have some if in the mood. I have heard that it is good to eat fruit first thing in the morning as well. Also, do not eat anything else with it for at least an hour afterwards. I get very tiny apples or only eat half or less. I wanted to ask you for more detail on your comment “Remember if we are still hungry after any meal and it is not a specific snack time, MORE WATER, or a DISTRACTION – not food!! :) FOOD IS NOT OUR COMFORT! WE RULE YOU STOMACH & MIND, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND! “ Does this relate to the Eat until 80% full, leaving 20% for digestion since over eating is not good and causes high residue and feeds organisms so best to go a little hungry? I had read about this about a month or 2 ago so just wanted to get your concurrence. Look forward to reading more of your post. Take Care, Nan |
