Hi Donna,

I agree with Julie...if you are going to fly, there are definitely ways to make it a better experience.

I flew to Reno back in September (I live in Texas) with no problems. I was over a year into the protocol but only nine months of doing it correctly. I did get pretty tired but that was just from being sick in general...you know how that happens for those of us with toxic diseases...and traveling, especially with layovers is tiring.

The only thing that was a problem for me on that flight was the fact that they had the AC turned down to Arctic. I was FREEZING and hadn't brought a throw. For some reason, I'm much more sensitive to cold than most people, and especially so since I got MD. So...if you have this issue...do take a throw.

I flew to Reno again in December. This time, I had a cold that wasn't too bad yet...however...the trip did make it much worse. So...make sure you're feeling well before getting on a plane...and also make sure you stay on all the supplements and be careful with the diet.

If I had it to do over again, I'd get a direct flight. However...there was quite a bit of price difference...cheaper if you got a layover, which is what I did.

The biggest problem I had was on the second trip on the way home. You know how your ears pop on the plane sometime? Mine did very badly in my left ear which is the same ear where I hear constant ringing anyway. It took over a week for me to hear properly again from that ear. I'm sure that was due to my cold though.

So...bottom line...direct flight if you can...stay on protocol and diet...and if I had it to do over again, I'd wear a face mask like Mel suggested. My vanity kept that one from happening, but next time, I'd lose the vanity.

Hope you can make this happen and stay well. It does any of us good to get away from time to time.

Love,

Karen
