Good Afternoon Folks, As many of you have been praying for our dear friend and Logos team member Jachin Rutt, I thought it would be good to give you an update on his status since being diagnosed with stage four colon cancer. Since my last update when Jachin was experiencing a plateau in his recovery process where the inoperable tumor stopped shrinking, he recently had a significant setback when they found a new tumor with both active cancer cells and infection. His resulting treatments with multiple antibiotics landed him in the ER with a life threatening C.Difficile infection which is being treated with vancomycin, an ultra potent antibiotic that is used for drug resistant infections. Among many other things, he is taking massive probiotic treatments to support his gut biome and baseline immunity. Jachin and Lauren recently suffered the loss of their sweet long time companion Brewtus, an amazing Dachshound pup who was affectionately known as the Flying Ween. They have an adorable new puppy named Wallie that has brought them much joy even through their grief. Jachin is facing these challenges with a positive attitude and I know he greatly appreciates the prayer covering from this community. Please pray for wisdom and discernment for Jachin, Lauren and his medical team and for continued strength, comfort and obviously healing. Thanks again for your love and prayers. Dear Friends, After communicating w/ Chrissie we thought it would be helpful & uplifting to think about a wonderful couple who has helped many people like the Logos family & so many others. Easter Sunday prayer call will be dedicated to our good friends Lauren & Jachin Rutt. We will pray for Jachin, Lauren & there family's, may God give them power, comfort & everlasting love. Dear John, I appreciate very much you letting us all know how poor Jachin is doing. My heart goes out to Jachin and Lauren and I can tell you that we pray for them every single week without fail in our Sunday prayer call. And many of us pray at other times too. They are a lovely couple and it is truly heartbreaking what they are going through and have been for quite some time now. And losing their beloved dog Brewtus too, aw, I'm dearly sorry!!! I second your emotion John that everyone that can in our community, please pray for healing from cancer for Jachin and send all the love that you can to both Jachin and Lauren. I know Lauren has had several bouts of pancreatitis at times too, which is no wonder with her dear Soulmate being so very poorly. Please can you all pray for Lauren too.
