On Monday,

I had an accident and hurt my hands. It appears that the garage door on my storage somehow did not close properly on Sunday, and a neighbor rang my bell once that afternoon to let me know. Apparently I was sleeping because I didn't hear it,

At 4:30 on Monday morning, when I was out on the terrace I saw a note on the door, and then I realized that someone had rung the doorbell. Well the reason for this was that they'd manually unhooked the garage from the electrical device and lowered the door for me, which was nice.

MY bike was there, the raft was there, everything was still there. I'm lucky.

Then I tried closing the door and hooking it back up and I couldn't figure it out, so I was going to lower the door manually. That's when I cut the middle finger on each hand pretty badly.

I ended up getting Twelve stitches in total...the left one is the most injured and has the most stitches. I have a splint on each of these fingers and cannot get them wet.

The pain from the stitches is making itself known and I'm having to figure out how to do even the most basic tasks without the use of these fingers. It's surprising how much you use each finger to get things done.

I will be somewhat incapacitated, and will keep you appraised in any changes in our scheduling.

God bless you all and keep me in your prayers please.
Mel
