Calling all prayer warriors... those of you who were on the fellowship call this past Sunday are aware of this but Mel suggested that I share this request with the greater community. One of our beloved Logos Nutritionals family members Jachin Rutt was diagnosed with colon cancer this past week and ended up in ICU with sepsis (massive systemic infection) due to a rupture in his GI tract. Some of you may remember Jachin from his occasional presence on Mel's calls and on most all of our Health Frontiers Radio Podcasts, for which he serves as Co-Host and Producer. He was treated for the infection and when they went in to remove the tumor they found it could not be safely removed because it was attached to a crucial ligament that holds the intestines in place. They were able to mend the intestinal tear and he now has a temporary colostomy. Jachin and Lauren await the results of the biopsies taken to determine how they will recommend proceeding with his treatment. He is also seeking a second opinion before proceeding. Please keep Jachin and his precious bride Lauren in your prayers. She is recovering from a broken heal and trying to navigate through the COVID related challenges at the hospital as well... limited visitation, etc. in addition to preparing to return to work as a school nurse. Jachin, Lauren and the entire Logos family are grateful for your love and prayers as we all strive to cope with these trying times. I will post occasional updates to keep you all informed of his progress. Hello Everyone, Here are the steps, Bible verses and wonderful, wonderful messages I wanted to share with all of you from Sunday. This was fantastic and blessed me so... How To Have Faith In Hard Times / Praying That Gets Results: 1. Ask the Father In Jesus Name - John 16:23 2. Pray in FAITH - Mark 11:24 - BE:IEVE that what you ask the Father, based on the promises in His Word, you HAVE received. 3. Forgive Others - Mark 11:25 4. Pray in the Spirit - Romans 8:26 The second part is rather long, so I will email it to Mel to post straight from the internet. It is absolutely fantastic and there is the most beautiful song in it!
