Well, if you haven't been convinced yet to consider filtering your water for drinking, cooking and bathing, then here are a couple of additional articles that should get you off the fence.

First up recent findings on the amounts of pharmaceutical drugs found in our water supplies. This article contains a link to one of the best gravity water filter systems. Needs no electricity or connection to your plumbing or faucet. Costs between $250-300 depending on if you have fluoride and/or heavy metals. Yet if you amortize the first year costs come to roughly .30 cents a gallons and thereafter with just filter cartridge changes approximately .15 cents per gallon. Plus if you are ever in an emergency situation you can purify river, lake, or stream water to meet you needs. Just pour it first through a coffee filter to get rid of the larger sediment.

Next, you might be one of the lucky ones from a small mountain community that has a pristine water source, adds no treatment to the water, no water storage tanks and pumps directly through the underground water mains to your house. Take a look at the inside of these mains from a simple Google search. Remember mains, water pipes, break and when they do "stuff" gets inside.

That's it for now. Go well and "never forget to laugh."
