I have started on week 8 and just ordered the Lyme's with Extension. It has been a journey to say the least. I was asking myself how did I get through the cancer journey and have had such discouragement through this trial and the Lord was so faithful to show me that I was not trusting him in this journey. As I thought about that I will confess I know he is right as he showed me in the daily reading plan today. Here is what I learned: In Numbers 20 starting in verse 6 we see the story unfold about how the Israelites complaining to Moses for the tenth time about wishing they had never left Egypt, The people have no water so what is Moses and Aarons response to fall face down in front of the Lord. He tells them to take their staff and assemble the entire community as the people watch Moses SPEAK TO THE ROCK. What does Moses do he loses his cool and instead of speaking to the rock he strikes the rock not once but twice. As a result of disobeying the Lord it cost Moses the entrance into the promise land! The Lord tells them Why and it's because they didn't TRUST HIM. Second lesson is in Luke 1 Starting in verse 13 we learn about the story of Zechariah he is serving in the temple and Gabriel appears to Zachariah he tells him he is going to have a son and that God has heard his prayer. The lesson here is God does hear our prayers and he does answer the prayers in his timing. Zachariah was up in age and so was his wife. Here is Zachariah's response and he knows he is speaking with the angel of the Lord! "How can I be sure this will happen? Same answer Moses receives because you didn't believe ME and trust me you will be unable to speak until the child is born. So after two separate but very clear messages form God's word I now know I need to trust him even in this disease. I will be praying each person will learn and grow in their personal walk with the Lord through this journey. We can also know that we can trust him even in the difficult times. I again want to put out the challenge to read and study God's word for yourself everyday along with praying everyday and the One year Bible makes it so easy. I stand by my offer to buy anyone who is unable to buy one. I am anxious to start the Lyme's protocol and hope I can get some relief I still have the biting and stinging all over my body. I also have terrible bloating I think it may be due to my stomach and large intestine. I can still somewhat function and enjoy being outside in the cooler weather. I never thought I would say this but I like the cold head treatment. One question I have is how many coconut ball can I have in one day. I Love them and I find myself eating two sometimes three a day. I used the recipe on the website but added chocolate chips the Lilly brand with no sugar. They are delicious by the way! Dear Robin, JoAnna, Tea and Judy, Thank you for responding to me I really appreciate the advise. I am trying different things hoping something will work for me. I am using the Silver drops in my eyes and I just got the Silver spray bottle so I can mist my face. After the Question and answer I decided to read my bible and I asked Jesus to give me a verse. I just Love When he speaks through his word. I wanted to share with all of you, I believe this will be my verse that I stand on throughout this journey. Drum roll Please! Deuteronomy 20:3-4 Do not be afraid as you go out to fight your enemy today! Do not loose heart or panic or tremble before them. For the Lord your God is going with you. He will fight for you against your enemies and he will give you VICTORY! Oh what a verse for what we are going through. I am asking Jesus to fight for me with this disease and calm my nerves as I am anxious to say the least. I will be attending church in person with my husband tomorrow but will be thinking and praying for each of you. I would love for Mel to give my number to each of you as I would like to speak with you. I am walking 2 miles with Brian 4-5 times each week outside. If I made my husband sound like a bad guy please forgive me. As I mentioned we will be married in May 35 years and he was my rock during the Cancer journey. He went to every chemo, radiation doctor appointment with me. If I got sick he cared for me and did all the house work, cooking, dog walking ect. I believe he was ready for me to feel better so we could do more things together. He really thought I would be 100 percent back to myself this year, We did see the Oncologist who is different than the Radiologist on April 1st. Of course Brian went with me and then took me to lunch after the appointment. My bloodwork came back good especially my liver has made a significant improvement YEA God! I truly believe it was due to Mel's coaching the protocol and of course the healing power of Jesus! THANK YOU MEL!!!! I am now under the care of the general doctor for 6 months unless I get a cold that won't clear up or my head hurts something unusual. The Oncologist shared with me that my cancer will likely not return in my breast with the cancer I had it will show up in the blood, brain or liver. I will not be out of the woods for three years with check ins every 6 months. I am taking this good news and living one day at a time! Now I want to get this disease under control. Hi, Lisa! I just wanted to share with you something I did when I was troubled with my eyes and eyebrows. I put a light film of Vaseline around my eyes and directly on my lashes and eyebrows. That seemed to help me, especially at night. I don't know if you have had issues with your ears, but I would put a light film of Vicks around the outside of my ears. NEVER on the inside! (I know that sounds crazy, but it worked for me!). A couple of times I felt something inside my ears, and put ONE DROP of hydrogen peroxide in my ears. (They hate that!) These are just quick, alternative things you can try. Maybe alternate with Sovereign Silver. I know what you mean about having a husband who just doesn't want to hear about your symptoms. Mine is that way too...also my son and daughter-in-law. Funny thing is, all three of them had this (to a lesser degree than me), but got rid of it very quickly. I guess I got the full-blown version due to a compromised immune system. I've been on the protocol for almost 10 months, and things have improved dramatically! Sometimes I look back and think, "Did that really happen to me...or was it a dream?" Just stick with the protocol, the diet, and Mel's advice. Things WILL improve!!
