Hi Everyone , i Need some advice at this moment. Im 21 years old . Yes i am a morgellons sufferer and its really hard for me because not only they dont believe how much im suffering , But they expect too much out of me . Im currently only working half a day , and not earning much . 400 dollars go to my bills for my supplements, the other 400 dollars goes to my personal phone bill and my food and other clothes . Im very frustrated that they expect me to grow up and even told me stuff like i need to wake up from my daydream. Im very hurt because i cant even take care of myself let alone contribute to all the house hold bills. Im really tired and they push all these expectations of me and try to compare me to their friends children . My parents are over religious catholics and emphasise so much on church and being religious that i dont go to church partly because my condition doesnt allow me to do so . I usually stay at home for worship . Yes im complaining, because they try to put their misery on me and it is difficult for me to heal with people who try to make it difficult for me and are toxic. Please let me know how do you deal with your unbelieving spouses or parents. No doubt im an adult, but im not able to work to my full capacity because i want to allow myself to heal. | |||

Dear Liz, Welcome to our community. You are now on your way to restoring your health. Take this journey one day at a time as it can be overwhelming. You are already making good choices by posting here and starting the protocol. There is nothing we can say to change our family's opinion about this disease; so try to be patient and remain true to your own instincts. I would like to encourage you to read about the supplements you are taking and why each one is important to your health. This protocol could benefit so many people with poor health even if they do not have our disease. The more knowledge you have......well knowledge is power. Hi Liz, I am really sorry to hear that you have Morgellons and are suffering so much. It is great that you are on the protocol. I honestly don't think anybody can understand what it feels like to have Morgellons if they have never had it. I don't think I could understand if I had never had it. Morgellons sufferers have such unusual symptoms and even doctors who believe that Morgellons is a legitimate disease usually have no idea how to treat it. Try to keep your focus on getting well and not on the opinions of others around you. I say this because your parents might not change right now in their behavior towards you. Later they might understand that you really were sick, but for now they have decided that you lack incentive and that staying on you will help you get some. They love you and mean well. I think all of us with Morgellons have had to learn to have patience and be forgiving towards those around us at times. Try not to get discouraged and lose your focus. I believe that you will get well and be able work full time and enjoy your life again. Cheryl | |||
