Welcome to the group. I had the same question and I have a home silver generator that I used for a long time. Then, in May I hosted the show "Meet the Manufacturers of Mel Friedman's Protocol" and had the good fortune to hear Robert Scott Bell talk about colloidal silver and I was able to ask him questions as well. Mel considers Robert to be the utmost authority on silver. Robert explained about the pitfalls of homemade silver in addition to why the Sovereign Silver is far superior. After hearing him, I would not go back to home made silver except in the case of an emergency.
