11:05:17 AM | Having a mammogram when I was not scheduled to have one saved my life. I had pain in my breast & was not due a mammo until Dec. this was in July so my gyn Dr. scheduled me for 1 in July & cancer was found which was called DCIS DUCTAL CARCIMONA WHICH WAS CONTAINED & HAD NOT SPREAD. if i HAD waited the Dr. Said it could have spread & I would not be alive today. As a cancer suriver for 16 yrs. I can truthfully say keep in tune with your body & definitely have a mammogram . As a result of finding it early I was able to only take radiation and did not have to take chemo. Chemo killed my baby sister after 9 yrs. cancer free she had leukemia which was caused by the chemo but she waited 9 months before going to the DR. God has been very good to me & I thank him every day that I found the cancer early. I know every one is different but I would urge everyone to have the test.
