Something told me to search my name and this old post popped up from 2017. Going through this entire post gave me great joy. I never thought I'd say that - but it's true. It brought back feelings of desperation and hopelessness. I didn't think I was going to make it. Things felt impossible - and in the natural, maybe they were - but with GOD, all things are possible. Here I am today, in 2024 feeling so much better. God has put a new song in my heart - a song of faith and trust. I now know that He has been with me this whole time. I never would've made it without Him. In the beginning, though, I couldn't feel Him. I felt abandoned. I now realize that He was with me the entire time. While I don't see 100% of the results yet, I know He is a healer and I will have the victory. I know I'm on my way. God holds my life in His hand and I trust His timing. Here are some things I've learned while going through this battle: God's promises are not only true, but they're for me. Also, God is FOR me - not against me. God will never leave me - EVER. He hears me and will answer me. Trusting and believing is important - then God will move on your behalf. Don't trust the natural or what you see - trust His nature and His Word. While this has been a nightmare, it turned out to be a wonderful thing because God is refining me - He's making me more like Christ. While I will never be perfect in this world, I will be one day. Not only has this strengthened my faith, but it put me in a position where my hope is only in Christ and nothing else. No one else could help me - not family or doctors - only Jesus. Material things (the things of this world) no longer matter so much. They're all temporary and you can't take them with you. Focus on the Kingdom of God, the things that are eternal. God is a provider - He promises to take care of His children and to provide all of their needs. He's kept His promise and has yet to let me down! If you're doubting whether you will ever make it through this I want you to know that YOU WILL. Put your hope in Jesus and He will never fail you. I know it's terrifying but as Christians, we have to learn to endure, persevere and to grow in faith. One day, when we all look back, we will be so glad that we experienced this because we will never be the same. In addition I'd like to stress the importance of following the Sum of the Parts - stick to a strict diet with clean meats and plenty of vegetables. I believe God lead me to this protocol and it's helped me out a great deal. I would suggest getting coaching in the beginning until you get into a steady routine. I'd also like to stress the importance of speaking to God as if it already is.... All of God's promises for you are YES and AMEN. "Lord, I believe all your promises for me are “Yes and Amen!” I surrender everything to you. I trust you. I trust your timing. I thank you Lord for working on my behalf even if I can’t feel it. I praise the name of the Lord Jesus Christ! Matthew 21:21 “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, 'Be taken up and thrown into the sea,' it will happen.” I'm around for anyone who needs to talk.
