Dear New People,

This post is for all the new people who have joined recently..... Welcome, welcome welcome!!!!! :-).

Please don't feel shy about reaching out to the community and forum. Feel free to write on here, tell us your story, ask advice (no horror stories please). Join the conference calls (every second Saturday and every Sunday). You have joined us now, so you are now part of this group.

Only a certain percentage of people post or take part Though I can tell you that it makes a huge difference to be ACTIVELY involved in the community rather than just passively involved. When you become involved you have a voice, you are heard, you are understood and you are no longer alone.

Why be alone in this difficult journey when you can have others journeying alongside you?

Please don't be shy.

Find your voice.

Reach out.

There is enough isolation and misunderstanding regards this disease in the world at large. Most people do not understand our journey, even if they are friends or family. That's why it's imperative that you have a place to go where people not only know what you are talking about, they go through the same hurdles as you. Every one of us knows what you are going through.

Don't be alone.

Let us hear from you.

Take care. We look forward to hearing from you.

Chrissie.
