Greetings to all my fellow and future warriors!!!

One thing is for sure, I am definitely consistent with being late in my monthly post… fortunately I am still holding true to my new God given belief system of better late than never!!! :)

April 5th marked 9 months of being on the full protocol and following it, including the diet, EXACTLY as it’s been spelled out for us. I would definitely say the payoff has been well worth the work put in when I consider where I was this time last year.

Easter is MOST definitely my favorite Season of the Christian calendar. Last year I was unable to attend Church in any way, shape or form during Easter. This year I attended Good Friday Service and the Easter Vigil and truly felt that as Easter confirms to us that Christ is Risen it also reminds us that we can and will be made new and rise through this affliction with Him!!!

It has not been all uphill though, as this past month I have continued to battle morning fatigue but am rejoicing that once I’m up and going the fatigue subsides until about 9pm. I also experienced new outbreaks of pimpling in areas that were never previously affected; my arms and face. Of course my face being the most alarming!! The new pimpling has been accompanied by additional purging. Better out than in is all I can say!!! Within the last week my feet and ankles, primarily the left one, are swelling again which has caused my feet to feel a little more activity in them. Lastly, just this week I got a fairly large scratch on my hand. Peter assures me AND more importantly I believe him that these are all signs of healing NOT signs of getting sicker. Again I have to believe him as a year ago I could barely leave my house for ANYTHING including work and today I am truly living a “fairly” normal life!!!

April also marks the 1 year anniversary of my choice to remove the plethora of prescription medications from my life. As we have all experienced, after 2 months of seeing multiple doctors with the only diagnosis being scabies but just getting sicker and sicker, several doctors told me they thought my issues were stemming from a challenged immune system. They all agreed that my immune system was challenged from my Autoimmune disease but none would address the fact that all the medications I was taking; multiple prescriptions for Rheumatoid Arthritis, a prescription for Osteoporosis, one for Allergies, one for reoccurring Shingles and one for Hormones, were lowering my immune system EVEN more than my Autoimmune disease was. Thus in early April of 2016 I took myself of all my prescription medications. I would not recommend ceasing them all at one time like I did but I was desperate and well quite honestly if today I was faced with the choice of all or nothing, I would choose nothing every time!!!!

April also marks the 1 year anniversary since I gave up sugar. Again I did not know what I was dealing with last April but thought mites were a part of it and read that sugar feeds them thus giving it up was not nearly as hard as I thought it would be. I don’t plan on ever returning to eating processed sugar but am hopeful that fruit (other than green apples, limes, lemons and avocados) and possibly even Manuka honey will be in my future at some point!!!

In closing I want to share that I’ve spent a lot of time this past month trying to focus on where, how and why I can remove stress from my daily life. I’ve been coming up with some interesting avenues but my MOST favorite of all is to ask myself; do you want to be right or do you want to be healthy????? Stress does and will hinder our healing and I’m quite certain it played a LARGE role in me getting sick in the first place!!! Thus I know in order to be the person God intends for me to be I must be healthy and I must NOT allow stress to rob me of God’s perfect plan for me and my life!!!!

Thank you again to Mel, Peter and John as well as to each and every warrior (past, present and future) that participates in this site… I can’t nor do I want to imagine where I would be without you!!!!!

Love, Peace & MANY Prayers to all…!!!!
