9/1/2016 7:53:31 AM | I feel your pain! I too had a horrible day after having consecutive days where I felt pretty decent. It left me doubting if I was ever going to get through this. As for the husband , I don't spend much time debating about whether or not the fuzz I just lint rolled off our bed is morgellons or simply harmless lint. He does occasionally make jokes that I just ignore, since he thinks I'm overly paranoid about the fibers. I save my energy for when he is not sticking with the cleaning procedures ....etc. he leaves the lid off of our plastic bins with clothes in them. He may get irritated for a second when I ask him to make sure he doesn't do this, but after I say something along the lines of " please... This is serious. I need your help if I'm ever going to beat this " - he understands. I am by nature a worrier, and I have to remember that worrying will do no good but add to our stress. Focus on the procedure and the procedure only. The next time you find yourself worrying about any aspect of this disease- figure out what you're going to do about it- then stop dwelling on it. Pray A LOT. I pray for my family daily and pretty much anyone else who comes in contact with me. I keep a journal now and write down my prayers, it helps to see that God has answered so many prayers, even things I've asked for that I knew weren't really important. I'm in the same boat as you. I think this is where it helps to talk to people who are a hundred percent or ninety percent healed like Mel and Peter. It may seem like some days there is no hope but Mel told me they've helped over a 1000 people.... I think these people are a great multitude , they just seem sparse because once recovered, almost all run away from all talk and memory of this nightmare. THANK YOU GOD FOR THOSE WHO STAY AND HELP! |
