Welcome.
I have often said that the strength of our protocol is in the SUM of its parts, not in some of the parts. That said, Bactrim worked well for me, but may not work as well in a different individual, depending on their particular makeup and challenges.
Some people simply do not tolerate sulfa drugs well. I do believe that some form of antibiotic is necessary in addition to the other components of our protocol in order to expedite recovery from Morgellons.
