Nancy,

You are using great stuff! I make a Thieves Vinegar, too, though mine has no nutmeg in it, I think our recipes are almost the same. I use dried lavender and whole cloves in mine and since the arrival of MD, also use wormwood now as parasites and bacteria hate it.

For my cleaning sprays for bathroom ceramic, kitchen and glass I use varying blends of the following essential oils and find them to be effective. I usually use blends of 3 to 5 or 6 different oils per whatever type of spray I'm making, always incorporating at least one of the 6 essential oils that have the most antimicrobial, antiseptic and antibacterial properties into a blend that is being used for any cleaning.

Glass cleaner: essential oils of lavender, eucalyptus, peppermint, rosemary, clary sage, pine, juniper

Kitchen counter & bathroom tile spray: essential oils of lavender, peppermint, tea tree, eucalyptus, rosemary, clary sage, pine, fir, cedar, juniper, oregano, clove, cinnamon, sweet orange, lemon, lime.

Wood furniture: essential oils of lavender, sweet orange, lemon, lime, clove, rosemary, pine, fir, cedar, rosewood, sandalwood and ylang ylang

I have different sprays for bugs, deodorizing, linen spray, beauty, first aid and pets too - but won't bore anyone here with all of that.
I'm a bit of a closet alchemist - have just always loved learning about the chemical processes and properties of blending and using herbs, flowers, spices and oils.

Thank you so much for sharing the Thieves Vinegar recipes. It's good to try out a different ingredient from time to time to improve a formula. I'd never used wormwood before I tried it recently, except as an internal anti-parasitic, but it is working well in the Thieves Vinegar.

Also so glad to hear you saved your chair and yarn. That is wonderful. I miss creative projects, too. Hoping to get back into that soon. Do you knit? I've always wanted to learn. In your posts you sound like you are approaching all of the facets of this affliction in such a steady, calm way. It's very encouraging to read. Hope you start feeling able to get to your creative projects soon!

Wishing you wamth, healing and peace -

Ms. V.
