If you are going to do hot soaks, you might as well at least add some epsom salts (magnesium) to the water... that will help even more with muscle issues.

You are essentially inducing a fever like state... something the body does naturally to fight infection... although via totally different means.

There are many ways to raise core body temperature... exercise is one of the best. But remember, low body temp is a symptom rather than the cause. Focusing on symptoms often carries with it unintended side effects, and is what morphed modern medicine into the sickness industry it is today.

Hot tub manufacturers know well the potential dangers of hyperthermia, and therefore recommend exposures be limited to fifteen minute periods (along with all the other warnings they mention - no alcohol, pregnancy, heart conditions, history of stroke, etc.).

Not to mention the problem of lowering testosterone and sperm count, but that is another story...

Parasitic and fungal infections can lower body temp by monopolizing energy resources and generating mycotoxins that overwhelm the body's detox systems and suppress thyroid function.

This is why infrared saunas (not pads) are helpful. Anything we can do to enhance detox pathways and lower the overall toxic burden is very beneficial.

Stick with the basics Mark and you will eventually get where you want to be. No amount of hot soaks will take the place of rehabilitating your bioterrain.

Hi John

Thanks for your input/reply

I agree with the above..

I would like to say that I feel in my gut that this thing M

Does something to help and add to the lower core body temp.
As I have researched and low body temp is a symptom of parasites internally.

I also read of someone who had symptoms lessened by taking VERY HOT long baths.. Hence raising core body temp.

I know it's suggested not to take baths at onset of this as it might facilitate spreading this.

Anyway.. Last night I decided to try it.. Took very hot bath.. I mean hot... And stayed in 30 minutes. I checked my temp. And as expected it raised up to 102 degrees...

Kept it there as long as I could...

After I got out ... Got ready for bed... I noticed I had a headache
( type I get with a herx reaction)

Also the muscle twitching I get that usually gets worse at bedtime...
Well none last night!

Anyway. Something to think about... Core body temperature/M connection

Thanks Mark
