About four years ago, we started a thread "Hello Down Under" about the first Morgellons sufferer from Australia who asked for our help.
I remember about 18 months later when she left us and was criticized by others for claiming she was only 90% better. I wondered myself at the time exactly what did that mean.
In the two years since she stopped publishing regularly on our site, she still periodically stops in and posts on what is happening in her life. She has since attended the marriage of her child and taken numerous vacations to various parts of the world. She continues to enjoy what she describes as a very normal and productive life.
Peter mentioned a few others who have fully recovered and are now "paying it forward" in some way or another, but there are countless others who take their life back and never look back.
Much has been written here about the reasons certain people struggle to get better so I won't rehash those here.
