I had shelves of vitamins and supplements that went untouched for 6 months. I was under a huge amount of stess - for many reasons. So, I was a perfect hunting ground for this monster. I feel that I did catch this from my mother, who was also lacking the essentials for great health. She had had it for six months before she came to visit me. We sat on the same furniture, used the same car, were together constantly and I still did not get it. So, suffice it to say that I definitely feel like it is not a casual transferance. However, after she left, I slept in the bed that she had occupied for 6 weeks and, used the same pillow. Of course, you have to know that I, at the time, did not know she had anything more than Delusions of Parasitosis. It was only after I got the symptoms that I researched it and found this "unexplained dermopathy" thing at the CDC website. So, I think that had I not used that guest bed after her that I would not have it. So I think intimate contact and an compromised immune system play a part in this. Get on some great vitamins, minerals, amino acids, probiotics, etc. I use the ones on this site and really like them. |
