Thanks for your e-mail. Those sandy specks come out of my skin in the droves. I am hoping that is a sign that Mel's protocol is scaring them out of my body! :)
I also have had to deal with candida and am removing all dairy, sugar and now gluten from my diet to see if that doesn't help with this condition. (I am on the skinny side so I can't lose too much weight)
The only doctors I have heard of in the bay area that are treating this are: Ginger Savely(nurse assistant)and Raphael Stricker (Lyme Literate Doctor). I know that Savely is a little pricey but both have offices in San Francisco. (Union Square Medical Associates) I don't know what their policy is about medicare.
There are probably others in the bay area who treat this as well. Maybe Mel or Mae may know of some, too. (?) Best of luck and I am glad to hear that you will be getting on Mel's protocol. It sure has helped me (almost 2 months now) and I am keeping the faith that this will kick those Morgies clear out of here!
