Hey there Kim J!

Glad to hear that you are doing so well and feeling the fruits of your labor! I'm also thankful to have the support system here as if not for this, we'd be all alone as Mel was....how horrifying I'm sure that was! He's my hero as I'm sure many of us share in that feeling! I couldn't sleep and was up all night listening to all the conference call archives and thought how great our God is to have given us this opportunity to journey together. I thought about how odd that it seemed to have so many people who has walked our journey as closely as we are now. Such as Monica and Teresa S., Justin and Tawney ...it seems that we come in pairs or small groups and start within weeks or days of each other. This is what God has intended, it's just another validation of his wishes that we create a divine brother and sisterhood. Thank you for reaching out to Mel for my info and I have to agree that I did need that time to transition. I didn't even think about how hard it would be, I just think I can get up and go like I used to and we know that's just not possible at this stage of the game. Heck, I'm still trying to get my grove back! haha! It will get there, slow and steady! My body tells me when to stop and I've not listened to it when I really should have, one of many self induced setback, but I'll learn one day to listen to Mel and rest when my body is screaming "HEY LADY, STOP"!! We must keep pushing forward when we have the strength to do so, but still remember to maintain a safe and happy balance. I'll get there, I'm just used to getting things done as I've never been a couch potato, pre M I was always on the move...I just need to get it in my head that my body is sick and I have to listen to it. I'm learning 'slow and steady' haha! Ask Mel again for my info when you get a few minutes so we can get together. I'd love to chat with you sometime soon. I'm back on track with my diet, thankfully and have been working slowly on getting the apartment cleaned and set up to my liking. I bought just the basics to help keep my cleaning as simply as possible. No foo-foo decorative things laying around until I'm well....that should help keep it easy for me when I return to work in February. I've enjoyed reading your weekly posts and can't wait to bond with you as we take on this journey. Together is always better than alone. A strong support system is a necessity in my opinion. For now, keep on keeping on sister and I'll do the same! Hope to talk to you soon!

Many Blessings,

Melissa
