1/4/2015 9:58:46 PM | Hi Kim, I haven't read the posts for the last week as I've been on the road. As I sit here reading your posts, (in the last hotel of my journey, FINALLY!),I can feel your enthusiasm in your, Zero's and Ninja's healing! Your faith in God, determination, and focus will deliver grand results, I'm sure of it! You're making changes for the better regardless of M! My relo has set me back a little, but that was to be expected. Being in a car for a week hasn't been the optimal experience with M, but I know that things will start progressing again once I can regain my daily focus. Mel has been checking in on me every few days, which has been a blessing and VERY comforting....he's the BEST! I've been meaning to tell you how glad I was to hear that you've accepted Jesus Christ as your savior as HIS presence and putting your faith in HIM will help you focus when focus doesn't seem possible. Anxiety can and will deprive you of much needed energy, as I'm sure you're already aware! It's something that comes with the territory. I've been pretty darned anxious myself lately with the move, not being able to eat and control my environment properly has been a BIG cause. Peter...how wonderful it is that you've been paired with him! While I've not personally spoken with Peter, I can tell that he must be a great mentor! I'm really glad that you were able to talk with him! Just reading his posts and story has been uplifting for me, I can only imagine how great it was to have been able to talk with him! We, the newbies :), have a long road to recovery and I think it's really important that we have people like him who we can ask all our crazy questions, LOL! I've had many questions for which I've been able to find answers in the search, but it's still nice to have someone to talk with who's been through it! I try to stay strong and focus on a 'slow and steady' daily regiment but it's still hard, I know. This wasn't something that I developed overnight, SO, I don't expect it to just go away overnight, BUT it would be great if it did, wouldn't it?? I wish you all the best in your recovery and look forward to connecting with you throughout our recovery! P.S., Mel has my information if you'd like to buddy up. Other than my Keebler (my dog) who is also suffering, I too am alone and understand the struggles of what that brings. God bless you sister! Be strong....we are warriors! Many blessings, Melissa |
