Interesting news and good news in a way. It also points out that people in the US can get parasites. Your doctor should be able to treat you successfully and your recovery from Strongyloidiasis is likely to be rapid.
My research indicates that Strongyloides is not the cause of Morgellons. However, because Morgellons is a self ascribed condition, and Strongyloides can have a skin lesions and symptoms similar to Morgellons, it is possible for a person to have Strongyloidiasis and believe it to be Morgellons.
You are now left with two possibilities. First, Strongyloidiasis is the cause of your Morgellons. Second, you have both Morgellons and Strongyloidiasis. The first case would be the better of the two. Your Doctor should be able to treat you effectively and you will be able to move on. The second is the less desirable that is, you still have Morgellons. The good news is getting rid of the Strongyloides should improve your health and aid in your body in fighting off Morgellons.
Either way keep us informed about your progress.
Good luck on your road to wellness.
