Thanks LA for this wonderful thread,

Is it possible to give thanks for as awful as Morgellons Disease?

Yes, it is possible to hate this disease but to give thanks to God for His willingness to turn what was meant to be a curse into a blessing. He has done exactly that in our lives through the ministry of this website.

Because of this protocol, the long battle to overcome this disease, the lifestyle changes, the values we've learned, the people who have supported us here and the forever relationships we have been given as a result of this disease, MD has truly been transformed into a blessing that will have far reaching benefits throughout our lives. But none of that would have happened without the Lord first, this website, the protocol and the men and women here who have been willing to sacrifice their time and resources to help others.

That is what I am most grateful for this lovely Thanksgiving weekend.

As I am writing this, I am looking across my desk at my daughter as she is playing with a new toy this Sunday afternoon. I see her bright and beautiful eyes full of health and free of disease. Her skin which is lesion free, acne-free and nearly free of scars. Her body is strong and she can breath easily. . . something that once was not possible. She sleeps soundly and her hair glows with good health. She is truly symptom free. How could I not be humbled with a heart full of thanksgiving today?

But that's not all. . . in addition to gaining physical health, Carrie has learned what it means to trust God, to run the race to win, to never, never give up hope. She has arguably had one of the most difficult battles with MD that any child has faced here on our website, and many times was ready to give up. But through the encouragement of "Uncle Mel", "Mr. Peter" and "Mr. B" she has learned that God never gave up on her, and that no matter how tempted she was to give up on herself, He never would and neither would they.

She stayed the course like a little trooper and by God's grace she made it to the finish line to witness the miracle He had for her. Whatever she faces in her future life, the lessons learned here will follow her. She has learned first-hand how to trust God completely and to finish the race He has designed for her, no matter what the odds. She has learned how to walk by faith and not by her own sight (2 Cor. 5:7).

How can I say "Thank You" for all of that? I can't possibly say it adequately. You'll just have to believe me when I say that my heart is overflowing with gratitude to the Lord and to all of you here who have helped to make this miracle a possibility.

Much love and my deepest gratitude to you all,

Deborah B.
