7/17/2012 11:28:40 AM | I want everyone to know how truly proud I am of Mel, for this post. His honesty, his tempered hand, and thoughtfulness is nothing short of perfection in these words. We, as a species, forget the small things, like acts of kindess--especially, when we're in such pain and agony ourselves. As I said to Mel on the phone, 'You go above and beyond the call of duty'. The protocol, is truly all the service that we need as suffers. But, in his constant acts of kindess, Mel calls us, he checks on us, he reaches out throughtout the entire process of US getting OURSELVES well. I stress that part, because it's not his job to get us well--his job is being an 'Angel' which means 'messenger'. He's done his duty a million times over, with this site, the conference calls (which are archived), emails, etc. Another thing...and, this may be off-putting. If you do not intend to follow the entire protocol, as Mel as laid it out--DO NOT expect a full recovery. If you DO NOT choose to change your eating habits, your life style, such as stress levels... DO NOT expect a full recovery. Mel has been very clear about what it takes to recover. There are no loopholes, get out of jail free cards, and you probably aren't going to be the first to fully recover while still eating: bananas, white rice, sugar, white bread, sodas, or any other processed foods that helped get you here. YOU MUST TAKE RESPONSIBLITY FOR YOURSELVES. This is YOUR life, YOUR body, YOUR individual experiences, and all choices and consquences are YOURS. MMS is stinky... Yep. MMS smells bad... uh huh, it really does. MMS SAVES YOUR LIFE, SO DRINK UP!!!! It's both amusing and vexing to know that people literally are gambling the odds on their lives based on the smelly, nasty tasting MMS. Seriously? Life isn't worth you getting this stuff down your throat? Really? Okay, well...that's your choice. But, Morgellons won't be waiting for you to find your courage, it'll just keep spreading, taking over your ENTIRE body, and ruining what life you do have. But, hey... keep whinning about that awful MMS... I know it works! I'm getting better, I am almost 1 year into this protocol, and I'm soooo much better for it. God bless, Jim Humble, Mel Friedman, and John Burgstiner. There is no way, my childish, bratty ego is going to get me killed. Think on those things when you want to resist the entire protocol. Think of your family, your friends,and all the happiness that life is and can be-- perhaps that will shrink your ego enough so that it can be reasonable. I pray that is the case. This is LIFE or DEATH people-- are you sure you don't want to take the MMS? Think of all the things western medicine does to save a life... And, all you have to do is take some medicine... Come one... You can do this. Finally... I want to acknowledge all of you working the entire protocol, doing the reading--yes it's a lot, so is life. ;-) I want you to know that you can and will overcome this. But, first, you must overcome who you thought you were, how you used to eat, and your fears of (insert answer here). Let fear fuel action, rather than allowing it to paralize you. As stated, the disease doesn't stop, so you not only need to get started, you MUST go all out to beat it. Hey, I'm here, all about cheering you on. I'm the queen of pep talks, but,I refuse to show up for you, if you will NOT SHOW UP FOR YOURSELVES. I'll admit it, I came here to get well, and I am doing so. But, I also have been blessed with some beautiful souls, whom I love like family. Healing happens in so many ways, do not sell yourselves, or your life, short. You are WORTH fighting for! Mel, I love you-- you know that, and, I have your back always. When it seemed no one had the answer, I found this site. A light in total darkness. Thank you, for all you've sacrificed,that you still sacrifice, your diligence, your energy. You're AMAZING! ;-) Blessings and Light, Monica |
