Dear Kanika,
I was very lucky, or should I say God was sending help my way would be more accurate. I went to a psychologist because my family wanted me to. The one I went to said I wasn't crazy, and she had treated many people with Morgellons before.
She gave me the name of my current Lyme specialist, which had also been recommended my 2 girls in this website and community. So, you see I was blessed.
If you can find one that believes in Morgellons, it would be great!! But, if you find one who doesn't......no telling what could happen to you. They might say your delutional and recommend a psych. unit !! I would be cautious to say the least!!
Find a Lyme specialist who has treated patients with Morgellons, but don't take the antibiotics if you have chronic Lyme, they won't help! Just go to the doctor for bloodwork and #'s as you get well following Mel's plan. Most doctors have not been trained to deal with these infections from Chronic Lyme!!
