Dear Kanika,

I am sorry that you have this disease and have suffered symptoms since October 2017 and been poorly for quite a while before that. Thank you for reaching out to our forum and sharing your story.

That is such a lovely name!!! I like the sound of it, is it a Dutch name?

I'm glad you live in the Netherlands as I know it's a very beautiful country. I'm also very glad to hear that your family are very supportive and don't doubt this illness!! That makes a huge difference. I think it is lovely that your dad made the garage into a beautiful place for you to have your independence whilst they are nearby too. Its also great that you have been able to get the, 'protocol.'

It is wonderful that bit by bit with the, 'sum of the parts,' and your family's help you are getting energy and health slowly but surely back.

Like you did, many of us had an impaired digestive system when we got sick, which isn't surprising as 80% of our immunity is in the Gut. This is why the protocol focuses a lot on building up the bioterrain, replenishing good bacteria and healing the Gut.

It is sooo good so much is improving for you, your digestion, your hormones, your facial skin has improved, your sensitivity to the full moon, light sensitivity. It is great your immune system kicking in, your weight and sleep improving too :-).

I will say sadly that I am very doubtful that you could get a psychologist to support you regards Morgellons. Very few medical people have insight into this disease. And the majority of us have been belittled, put down and falsely labelled by the medical community, who are by and large ignorant regards this illness. They could possibly help with anxiety and stress related to it, but don't expect them to believe that it is physical. Personally, I went to a psychologist and she refused to believe it is physical. This caused me to mistrust her and even dislike her treatment of me. So it was a non starter re support as If someone is belittling my experience based on their own ignorance it doesn't foster a healthy working relationship.

If you say you have Lyme and Co infections and leave out the Morgellons, you are more likely to get a better response. It is very sad that people have to do that however.

Your English is excellent by the way!!!

Take care and let us know how you are!!

Maybe you could join our free conference calls at the weekend? See, 'more communication is better.'
And in that way the community could also help you emotionally to deal with this journey:-). It really is hugely important to not be alone in this and being an active member of the community really helps.
