I just now (quite late in doing so) read your posts and others' responses. You are one courageous woman! Thank you for sharing so honestly and openly. My heart goes out to you! I will be praying for you daily! It is encouraging to hear that you are gradually doing better. PLEASE stay connected with this Community!! I have only been here a year, but have found the folks here to be so very very caring because they can empathize with what you are dealing with. These folks have become very dear, loved friends. The emotional support here is incredible!!! If you can, I would encourage you to come to the prayer and fellowship call on Sundays. It is at 11:00 Eastern Daylight Time in the U.S. I just looked it up, and that would be 5:00 p.m. your time. You don't have to talk during the first part of the the time together, but being present during the second part of the call would really help you to get to know people. You can share how your are doing, ask questions - and people will respond. You will come to sense the wonderful support of the folks. The core of the people from the Community come to the Sunday calls, so it truly is the best way to get enfolded into the group and feel the care the members give. I would love to stay in touch with you!! I feel a connection with you for several reasons: #1) especially because I am half Dutch - my great-grandparents came from the Netherlands; #2 I work at a university and love the intellectual stimulation; #3 I think I am overly-sensitive (I was seeing a Counselor, and I don't think they believe me when I told them about the itching, etc. - they just said I was a very sensitive person. (this was before I found this website; #4 Being a librarian, I love to use the research skills I've learning to help students and others. It is a joy and blessing to serve in this way and mentor university students Kanika, while my situation with M is not nearly as challenging as yours, I can say the psychological stress of not knowing what was going on, and trying to find answers was SUPER TOUGH. So, I do empathize so much. By way of encouragement: PLEASE do keep up this fight against Morgellons - YOU CAN WIN and restore your health You can see you have made progress already. It takes time and being faithful to all the aspects of healing. Learning all the things you can do to heal takes time, so don't stress yourself by thinking you need to absorb it all at once. I would suggest the most important things are: correct diet, sleep and more sleep, getting on the protocol, and being connected to the folks here. You could also refer to the "Sum of the Parts" heading on the main page. So am writing this to let you know you are very warmly welcome here. I hope we can stay in touch! Take things a day or an hour at a time. A long distance prayer and hug to you! Karen (the Librarian) (a.k.a Laughing Bird). | |||
