It's been a long time since I've posted in my own thread, long time! I am here to tell you there IS light at the end of the tunnel!! At 18 months, in January, I was hit with such fatigue, deeper than I had ever experienced. To even carry on a conversation, or to listen to someone talking, was more energy than I had to spare! Bed rest was it. This went on all of January to the point I quit my job. Talk about getting sicker before you get well! Mel assured me this was "Custer's Last Stand". And boy, do I understand how this stuff doesn't want to leave! It continued into February and March, though not as intense. I kept repeating to myself, "WALK BY FAITH NOT BY SIGHT" 2 Cor. 5:7 and "MY GRACE IS SUFFICIENT FOR YOU, FOR MY STRENGTH IS MADE PERFECT IN WEAKNESS." 2Cor. 12:9 Sunday, April 12th, after hanging up from the prayer call, I was given a reprieve from ALL my fatigue and symptoms as NEVER before. In a moment, it was gone! The time spent in bed for the better part of 3 months was rewarded in a wellness I have never experienced in my life!! In God's merciful love He gave me a glimpse of life after Morgellons and Lyme disease! Beautiful!! It was like being in a dream, freedom! The greatest reprieve I've had yet! That was the most intense healing phase to date! A deep layer of these bacteria's, pathogens, parasites...was removed! Now, I am on to the next phase of healing with the "knowing" I am going to overcome this 100%. SLOW & STEADY!! One day at a time with my eyes on the LORD! I will continue to follow Mel's advice because he truly knows what he is talking about. Mel, I am in deep gratitude to you! Thank you for your continued help and guidance to see me across the finish line! NEVER EVER GIVE UP HOPE!! No matter how dark it may seem, or difficult, know you are never alone. we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, HOPE. Now HOPE does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. Romans 5:2-5 NKJV BE COURAGEOUS!! In His love, Tracy | |||
