AKA, as Secretary of peaceful relations, What's that for? To keep Mel from insulting too many countries
Hi Jamie,

Welcome to the forum. I'm glad Mel convinced you to become more active in the community and start your own thread. It was nice hearing you on the weekend calls, and I enjoyed reading your posts in this thread.

Your pastor surely has a kind heart, to come up with the encouraging idea of personalizing the scriptures. It was also very thoughtful of him to give you some scriptures with your name already written on them.

The card your student gave you sounds very pretty. I know that the lovely note she wrote inside really touched your heart. It's wonderful how your kindness to her has made a huge difference in her life,

There are teachers I still remember for their kindness and ability to teach well, and teachers I still remember for their rigidness and bad temper. I can tell that you are the kind of teacher who impacts your students' lives in a positive way.

You wrote that you will never completely forget this crucible, or test, and I don't think any of us will. I do believe many people who have been through this come out kinder, more thankful, and with a closer relationship to God.

I hope your headaches are improving. Did you notice that Mel put under the "Mel Man" picture on the post concerning your headaches, that taking a little children's aspirin has been helpful to others?

I find Cranberry supplements helpful for an overactive bladder. Have you tried that?

Kids truly do say and do the darndest things :-) I look forward to reading the remarks and anecdotes of some of your students in the future.

God bless,

Cheryl
