I am looking forward to this weekend’s conference calls. I am hoping that I can make the Saturday one (I may be a little late), but I will definitely be at Sunday’s.
I just wanted to provide a quick update.
I learned a lesson about staying in an environment other than my own. For a week, I watched a couple’s home and their three animals in Connecticut. It’s a lengthy story why, but one of their dogs is the dog I had to give up due to my Lyme/Morgellons. I miss Lucy so much that my heart still aches years later that I had to give her up when I was originally too ill to care for her.
To make a long story short, she got SKUNKED the first day I arrived. Although I was able to get the vast majority of the skunk oil off her and out of the house, I spent most of my evenings there itching and stinging and burning...it was just awful. As I anticipated, my return to home provided almost instant relief.
So, for anyone out there who HAS to travel or stay outside your home, I hope you don’t have the same experience I did! THANK GOODNESS I brought my essential oils and Kleen Green! I also talked to Donna on the phone several times while I was there, and it was a great distraction from all the aggravation!
I continue to freeze my little head off with cold water on a nightly basis. I’m sure that remark will make Mel chuckle just a little. You’d better be correct about this Mel...I’m in Massachusetts...it’s bitter cold here...and the last thing I want to do is plunge my head under that faucet!!! It will all be worth it when I get my hair back!
I continue to pray for all of us!
